Cons: I originally purchased this drive in September of 2013, and it was dead on arrival. I tried it on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, and it simply would not mount. I contacted Corsair, and they sent me a replacement. Great. I was on my way to being a happy customer.
The replacement drive also did not work on Mac OS X or Windows (not sure if I tried it on Linux this time around.) I have purchased and installed numerous SSD drives in my computer and others, so this isn't new to me. I posted a comment on my support ticket with Corsair on October 1, 2013, and I have still not heard any reply from them.
Suffice it to say, it's very depressing to me to have to deal with Corsair to get my money back. I'm not sure what the Samsung customer support is like, but I now exclusively buy Samsung SSDs. They seem to be a good bang for the buck, and they have worked like a charm every time.
Cons: Doesn't work.
Other Thoughts: I have installed many SSD drives into computers, primarily a variety of Apple laptops. When this SSD arrived, I tested it on all three OSes: Linux, Mac and Windows 8. None of them could get it to do anything. So I sent it back and asked for a replacement. Same problem occurred when I got the replacement. I have tried to go onto Corsair's support site, but it wasn't working the last time I tried it. I'll be steering clear of these drives from here on out.READ FULL REVIEW
