Pros: The camera takes good photos, just when its still. I've used it for merchandise photos and used lighting. I had to mess w/ the settings a lot but the photos came out nice.
Cons: where to start..... well the photos of merchandise I took were at night because it was the only way to drowned out too much light. I have a softbox and lighting rig. Nothing special but the daytime shots couldn't get the macros right. I'm not expert but I did get the photos down w/ umbrellas and atleast $400 of extra equipment. Could have just bought a nicer camera after all is said and done. Now the camera focuses in on the faces but it takes forever, and if you don't use it you get a lot of blurry photos. I have a tripod and the thing works perfect. Any movement w/o the tripod and focus you'll get blurry photos. This is a big con, if you use the focus on faces etc, you might in most cases miss the shoot. If there are multiple people in the shoot, which is most the time, it can't tell who to focus on. Now that I was done taking my item pictures and family photos I thought why not take it to the waterpark. I seen it in the commercials and read about it on the box. I was more then happy to try it out. Well not such a great idea, the thing broke after 4-5 shots. The LCD went black and it came back after a few days. It still works but I now need to waste money sending it back, if they will even take it. Worst part about it, I could have lost a bunch of photos because they said it's waterproof, well its not!
Other Thoughts: The thing was made cheap, they cut corners and tried to sell it as a higher lvl product. Its just a cheap camera w/ a nice zoom and poorly crafted shell. The software it uses doesn't work well and is flawed. It's not waterproof and I won't suggest taking underwater unless you don't want you photos. Please don't buy this camera, spend a little extra for a nice one. Thank YouREAD FULL REVIEW
