This review is from: Intel X25-M SSDSA2MH080G1 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Well, I finally took the plunge and it leaves me without dissappointment for my purchase. The drive is smoking fast. I think the biggest enjoyment for me is right after I type in my password for the log on screen and see how short of time it is before the toolbar is loaded and done and the mouse pointer is not doing its load animation. Everything is simply faster.
Cons: Bang for buck is not very high when you compare gig for dollar. Capacity is limited.
Other Thoughts: Bang for buck per dollar is not high for capacity but when you compare it to overall performance it is good. I have a Gateway P6831FX, I have upgraded the processor to 8300, it was a good purchase. I upgraded the harddrive by adding another WD Scorpio 250 gig and put them in Raid 0. Not impressive, so I sold those and got 2 Seagate 7200RPM 250 gig drives and ran those raid 0, MILDLY impressive. Now I have the OS installed on the Intel SSD and 1 of the Seagates' as an extra storage/music/game whatever drive and I am real far past MILDLY impressed. Jackpot.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Creative HS-1200 USB Connector Circumaural Digital Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: I am not haveing any distance issues as other customers. I know I can go about 20 feet with a metal door closed and it picks up perfect. The mic is good, the battery life is good enough to watch a movie and listen to music. I haven't ran it out so I don't know how long it lasts totally. The sound quality is pretty decent. It's as good as I expected. I have a pair of $500 shure 500 series ear buds, and a pair of bose headphones and I can say plainly they couldn't touch either of those in a lifetime. Then again those others aren't wireless either. I got the second pair because my wife is changing dirty diapers and breastfeeding so it makes a seemless talk for us which worth every penny to me. I definately recommend these. They won't receive 5 stars because I know what excellent sound quality is and comfort. But this is the best thing I could find on the market for me.
Cons: I should email creative and tell them to slip on some bose headphones and then put theirs on so they will know what comfort is. I would even pay extra if they marked them up if they used better padding like the space-age foam leather wrapped pads like bose has.
Other Thoughts: All in all it's extremely easy for me to overlook the shortcomings of this headset for what it offers. If I have made this headset sound extremely uncomfortable, it is not my intent. But 5 stars should mean something.READ FULL REVIEW
