Pros: Smooth as silk! We were migrating from a Win 7 Dell Inspiron 1564 w/ a half-full 320 GB to the 250 GB SSD. The included utility moved everything it needed over. Now boots & load apps lightning quick. Not enough experience on btty life or heat dissipation yet, though.
Cons: Not really a Con, but: To those used to traditional cloning (Ghost, G4L, etc.), this is not your usual clone operation. It does not load a trim OS and work outside Windows, it runs IN Windows. So don't freak out like I did.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Desktop Memory Model VS1GB333
Pros: Newegg service
Cons: Spoke too fast ... Shortly after the initial success installing in PCChips M825G w/ AMD K7, this RAM started flaking out: Windows would load funny (HID problems) or spontaneously reboot - Not fun. Tried several different sticks, combo's & pairs. Had no problems w/ PNY version (previously bought, but out-of-stock at the time).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MSI H57M-ED65 LGA 1156 Intel H57 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Straight-forward build w/ Core i3-530, 4GB, twin mirrored 1TB SATA's, Win 7. It is F A S T ! The IDE HDD controller came in very handy when I could not get Win 7 to recognize an external.
Cons: The manual is kinda sketchy on getting to the <ctrl>+<I> to get the On-board SATA RAID config'd. To do so see Other Thoughts.
Other Thoughts: To set up the On-board SATA RAID, in BIOS, set Integrated Peripherals (IP), RAID Mode to AHCI and set IP, On-Chip ATA Devices, RAID Mode to RAID. If that doesn't get you the <ctrl>+<I> screen, you may have to hit F6 duing POST, re-check the above settings, and re-boot yet again.READ FULL REVIEW
