AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad-Core 3.7GHz Socket FM2+ 95W AD860KXBJABOX Desktop Processor (BLACK EDITION)

Pros: Very nice CPU, I mean this thing's benchmarks competes well with medium to low i5's and is a little better then i3's.... for $68 it's a no brainer.

Cons: This is where it falls off though. This CPU is not great for a HTPC case. the stock fan was idol @56c..... with 2 better fans the idol was at 45c..... I may buy a better fan, but most of the lower profile fans won't cool it enough in a mini case....

Other Thoughts: great cpu... but for a mini case being used as an entertainment system (4k, blu-ray, streaming, gaming) it is too hot. Might be better off with an A8 and a gpu or maybe an fx 6350

This review is from: Changhong 49" Class 4K Ultra HD LED TV - UD49YC5500UA

Pros: see old review
+light weight

Cons: see old review

Other Thoughts: I said I would add on from my previous after awhile. I have now owned this TV for about 3 weeks.
* I got the motion blur people were talking about. All you have to do is turn off the EMR setting and you have your standard 60 refresh back and no blur. The upscaling so far look very good. Games are getting a little annoying to play on it.. As the TV states it has 8ms, I find it more as 14ms which is very noticeable. I would not pay over $700 for this TV however. If you want a gaming TV, this is not the pick. If you just want a cheaper tv that has a great picture for movies or TV This is perfect! If you buy it at $700 its ok, but $500 or under its a steal

4 out of 5 eggs Trust this review 12/03/2014

This review is from: Changhong 49" Class 4K Ultra HD LED TV - UD49YC5500UA

Pros: * actually has a good picture, have yet to try the 4k, but the 1080p is clear!
*Small borders along the side of screen (not huge hunky plastic pieces like my old one)
*very customizable with options and easy to use, I mean, you have be totally brain dead to not know how to use it...
*I paid $500 for this TV
* Movies are actually good looking,

Cons: *The back panel is cheap but is sturdy.
*the stand is stable but can wobble only if you touch the TV, (sturdy enough to not move on its own)
*would not pay full price
*Average TV for games but not the best.. the actual refresh rate is around 45-50Hz and has 8 m/s (which is ok)
* It does have a lighter coloring in each of the corners form the light, but hardly noticeable (didn't see them until people posted about them)

Other Thoughts: This TV is actually a good TV. If you compare the 1080p with another 1080p tv here are thing you will notice:

*this TV has slightly less warmer coloring than a Samsung or Sony
*There is not as many shades of Black (not alot of difference, but noticeable) as a Samsung or Sony
* Cheaper outside material than Samsung or Sony

I would not buy this TV for full price. I bought it for around $475 on Black Friday was a GREAT buy. I would pay however $800 because the 1080p is still very nice looking, and it is 4k capable, which almost all TV's this price won't be able to do.
Playstation 4's and 4k players will all work on this TV.

Another note:
I did some research on this company. They are the 2nd highest selling Brand in China and have been making TV's for 50 years. Chinese companies are in a 4k race to make the cheapest 4k TVs. This explains the cheaper thinner material used on the outside casing and borders. HOWEVER, the picture quality is still pretty good. The TV is best for Cable/Satellite or movies. It is ok for gaming but not the best you can get for it. Has a cool PC mode which gives you the full picture and none cut off, which i dont see in many TV's. I will update after i play with it more in a month
