This review is from: Toshiba 42" 1080p 240Hz LED HDTV 42TL515U
Pros: Cheap 3D
Decent color - no where near my plasma I bought back in 2005.
Energy efficient (kinda) (other models at this size use less electricity)
Cons: -Takes 20 seconds to turn on
-Input switching is delayed (when starting xbox 360, you never see the 360 logo, starts up right on the dashboard)
-TV randomly turns off, this is an ongoing problem with these TVs, just do some research. Toshiba also knows about this problem and fails to address it.
-The remote also becomes unresponsive. Can't turn the TV off or anything else, must pull the power cable to fix this.
-Addons/netTV will not work at times. Pressing the button won't even bring up the menu.
-Last firmware update for this TV was OCT 26 2011. You think Toshiba would give this TV some much needed updates, but it doesn't seem like they ever plan to.
Save yourself a headache and buy a Samsung or something else. I've been regretting this TV ever since. I will never buy another Toshiba product for as long as I live.
Other Thoughts: Short side of a much longer and troubled experience:
This is my second TV. First one was returned to Newegg for similar problems (screen would randomly dim/shut off/unresponsive)
My second TV has almost the same problems, but doesn't randomly become dim. Having warranty work done through Toshiba, who sourced Nexicore to do the work, who really aren't that great either. I had to call them multiple times, while they had an excuse for everything. I have been waiting about 3 weeks for their service and today they finally came. Mainboard was supposed to be replaced, but when the tech replaced it, it didn't even work. They also tried to use a refurbished board (you think they would test these things first?)
This review is from: Linksys E2500 Advanced Dual-Band N600 Wireless Router
Pros: There's a few, but I haven't even had a chance to check them out. . .
Cons: Hasn't worked right out of the box. Connection would constantly drop or was extremely slow. Being defective isn't even the bad part, it's their tech support! I've been on a marry-go-round with them for a good three weeks to a month now! The first time I had a problem, I called them. They had me on the phone for 2.5 hours doing all kinds of things. Since then I've chatted with them about 7-10 times. If I get a new in-box router, I'm tempted to just sell the thing.
Hopefully I can save someone else the trouble I've had to deal with!
Other Thoughts: I will never buy Linksys/Cisco products again, just because I fear going through this again. Thankfully I had a Netgear RP614 to fall back on.
Save yourself and pick up a DIR 655, I wish I did.
I also did NOT purchase this router from Newegg. I wish I did so I could have just sent it back. Always go with the Egg!
This review is from: Weber Smokey Joe Silver Charcoal Grill 10020 Black
Pros: Small and very portable. What else can I say? It's a grill, and a Weber at that!
Cons: Just wish the ash pan was detachable for easy dumping.
Other Thoughts: Takes no time at all to put together. All you have to do is attach the legs, ash pan, and handle.READ FULL REVIEW
