Pros: Good R&W speeds.
Reliable, so far.
Price for performance.
Cons: None that I can think of or have experienced.
Other Thoughts: Got this on sale for quite a bit less than it is now, which I'm glad I did. So far there hasn't been any hiccups or anything of the sort, it's been 2 months now with heavy use (lots of read and writes). Boot time is lightning fast. I decided that I was done with internal HDD's (for my personal rig) and will only buy SSD's from now on, it's worth it, in my opinion. Firmware was easy to update with the tool/program off of their website. Really not much else to say except that I made the right choice :)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Overclockability is insane with this one. I made the right choice with this processor. I was building a budget gaming rig and this fit the price/performance bill beautifully.
Chance of unlocking more cores is awesome. Though if you can't, it is still a great processor. If you NEED a quad-core processor then buy one (the X4 955 is priced well and performs awesome), this is sold as a dual core and that is what you are guaranteed, nothing more.
Cons: If i let it out of the case it will eat me :(
Other Thoughts: Mine does unlock into a quad core but only overclocks stable to 3.6GHz, Vcore@ 1.46v, any higher multi or FSB bump gives core 3 (the 4th core) an error and instability. But it does overclock to 4.08GHz with the Vcore@ 1.46v as a triple core :) Which is awesome. I pretty much only need 2 cores for most of my games and having the 3rd to run the background apps n' the like helps out a LOT.
O yea, my build:
Cooler Master Elite 430
AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE, Unlocked to X3 @4.08 GHz, Vcore@: 1.46 v
Powercolor Radeon HD 6850 1GB DDR5
8GB G.Skill Ripjaw 1333 DDR3
Seagate Barracuda 1TB, 7200 RPM
XFX Core Pro550w
This review is from: MASSCOOL BLD-12025V1 120mm Blue LED Case cooler
Good looks, cable is sleeved.
LED's seem just right for brightness.
Moves quite a bit of air.
Cheap in price.
Cons: Can think of any thankfully.
Other Thoughts: I went through 2 other brands of 120mm Blue LED case fans before i got to these. I didn't want to pay $12-$15 per fan, especially since i buy at least 3 or more at a time, which gets expensive, yet i wanted a decent fan. These fit my expectations and more. They are quiet, they really move a lot air and they look awesome. WINNING :D MASSCOOL is now my go-to company for case fans.READ FULL REVIEW
