This review is from: MartinLogan MLT-2 5.1 CH Premium Home Theater Speaker System Black System
Pros: Great sound quality, very clean and balanced. $1000 speakers for $200?, hard to beat that.
Cons: Careful installing them, finish scratches very easy. Mounted to the ceiling and barely making contact with the ceiling cause white scuffs on the top of the speakers. Luckily, because of how it's mounted, no one will see it.
Other Thoughts: After seeing the huge discount for these speakers, I took a look at the reviews and noticed people were having issues with the sub. I decided to take a gamble based on how well Martin Logans customer service was in correcting the issue with people that had to replace it.
I've had the system installed for a week so far and I can say that my sub appears to be working well without the crackling other people had experienced.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and edit this review if something happens to change that. These are great speakers and would recommend them to a friend at this insanely discounted price!
Pros: Worked right away, windows recognized it and Nvidia drivers too.
Cons: It's refurbished
Other Thoughts: When I first built my PC in 2010 I had always planned to go Sli at some point. My first gtx 460 was the superclocked EE and it always seemed to do the job on it's own. I began to notice that these were getting harder to find new and had still held it's price somewhat. I went the refurbished route because for only a hundred bucks, it was worth putting off getting something new and spendy for a little longer.
Wish I could have found an exact one of my other 460, this ones plastic feels cheaper and so does the fan. It also runs on a higher voltage but good for what it is.
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: Wasn't difficult to install, especially after watching the videos. The instructions that came with it helped for quick reference. I always like getting all the hardware and they included a few nice extra things like the bumper pads and thermal paste.
Has cooled my i7 950 by quite a few degrees on idle and max load. I've almost read enough to feel confident in my first overclock and now with my temps lower, my confidence is even higher.
Cons: A couple of the prongs on top appear to be crushed. Doesn't seem to affect performance, but aesthetically it's unappealing.READ FULL REVIEW
