This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo (Green LED Model)
Pros: Was relatively cheap
Mouse is comfortable, no complaints there for the price paid.
Cons: Mouse LED will always stay on even if your computer is turned off, unless you change usb settings in bios.
You will have to hit a button on the keyboard every time you turn on your computer for the LEDs to turn on.
As the title says, the keyboard had issues around 3 weeks in. The I,k, and comma keys started working intermittently, and then failed altogether.
Other Thoughts: While it worked, the keyboard was enjoyable to use.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great color, with some calibration I couldn't be more pleased.
Analog sound output was an unexpected plus as the computer it is hooked up to, an Alienware Alpha does not have one. I can now send sound via HDMI and pass it through the monitor to my speakers which saved me a few bucks instead of buying a usb adapter.
There were no dead pixels and backlight bleed is nonexistent! Both of these issues had cropped up in the last couple monitors I have purchased so I am glad it is not the case this time.
The monitor is large as expected, but not to the point of seeing any reduction of visual quality being a 1080p panel.
The interface to adjust monitor settings is easy enough to use and the physical buttons have a nice tactile feel.
A major plus (for me at least) is that the power button only glows when the monitor is turned on, and turns off shortly after.
Cons: If I had to nitpick I would have to say the power adapter is a bit of a letdown as it is rather large (of course this allows LG to make the monitor thinner) and blocks two plug slots on my surge protector. Of course, this can be alleviated by plugging it in on the end so it really isn't that big a deal. I haven't noticed any major delay (well it IS a 5ms panel) compared to my BenQ TN panel however as of yet I have not put it through any "hardcore" gaming tests.
Though the color is outstanding, I could see how some would want the monitor to be just a tad bit brighter, but without having to max the brightness I am quite pleased.
Other Thoughts: I bought this on sale and do not regret it at all. I had not purchased an LG monitor before and did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this monitor. I would definitely recommend to those looking for a 27" monitor who do not want to a few hundred more for a slightly better one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Incredible price for a 10.1 inch windows 8 tablet. I took a risk on it being a refurbished unit but have not had any problems regarding quality. The screen has great color and the tablet handles 720p youtube videos without a hitch. Battery life is also another high point as I get around 10 hours browsing and 6 watching videos. The tablet is responsive and while it will not be of much use playing games it handles other tasks well. The build quality is surprisingly nice and seems as if it will hold up in times to come. The camera quality is decent, although it should be noted that taking shots at the max MP is only possible in 4:3 aspect ratio which I thought was odd.
Cons: Windows update to 8.1 took 11 hours. That is not a typo, eleven actual hours. At many points it would seem to lock up but given enough time it would continue updating. The one small issue I have noticed is that occasionally after pressing the power button to turn off the screen, the screen will turn back on again a few seconds after. However this is not a terrible issue and I can't complain given the price.
Other Thoughts: All in all I think this is a wonderful tablet for people that like being able to watch videos and browse the internet, but still need a true windows environment once in awhile. I got more than I expected out of this purchase.READ FULL REVIEW
