Great case but check your measurements
Pros: Great build quality, easy to build in, nice features and construction, the dust filters are high quality.
Cons: you can NOT fit GPUs over 290mm in length with a front radiator(240/280) mounted. So if you're planning on liquid cooling, measure your GPU!
Overall Review: I feel like this has got to be some kind of small oversight by Fractal, but I don't know really. It's advertised and obviously designed to fit a wide variety of AiOs, so like, if that was the design decision, you'd think Fractal would've taken note that the clearance was extremely close, and mentioned it some where. I knew my ridiculously huge GPU was going to be a tight fit, but i didn't think that meant "Not fit at all." and it's not like we haven't seen huge GPUs before, it's not like they're a new thing. They note the max GPU length with front fans installed, but you know, the connection isn't obviously there, Fans, Radiator, liquid cooling. The information is there, but it's subtle, users have to draw their own conclusions and subtract from their clearance in order to accommodate most AiO liquid coolers and make plans with that.
Feather-Tappers beware.
Pros: Small, Light Weight, Good Battery Life. I am able to good weeks without replacing batteries with almost constant use. (10+hours a day) Perfect for laptops with blue-tooth capability.
Cons: The Double A batteries are just an 8th of an inch to big for the left slot. What problem does this cause? Well if your a feather-light finger tapper like myself, you like clicking your mouse buttons effortlessly and lightly, this model will not let you do that. I know a good deal about Computer mice, I disasymbled this mouse and found that the batter brushes against the upper side of the left button, preventing you from pushing it down without smashing it. it's a design flaw and cannot be fixed and it drives me insane.
Overall Review: Great Logiteth product less the design flaw. Don't buy it if your used to lightly pressing the mouse buttons. If your heavey handed you wont notice a difference.
Works & Looks great with some caveats!
Pros: -Cable is long enough to reach first PCIe slot, works okay-ish with the O11-Dynamic. -Zero Signal degradation, works like a beast, no stuttering, Lian Li always supplies the highest quality shielded pcie riser cables -Displays the GPU beautifully in my case -Heat dissipation seems unaffected thanks to the fact that the GPU is situated far away from the side panel
Cons: -Seems to have been built to mount more than one GPU, but official documents claim only one is possible. (So you'd need to buy an entire additional kit to get the specific riser cable that works with this kit to try mounting another PCIe card) -The screws shipped with the bracket that mount it to the base of the case were obviously not designed to go with the O11-Dynamic. It looks great, but their dome shaped heads prevent the magnetic dust filter from perfectly adhering to the metal bottom of the chassis, minor issue, but seems like one Lian Li could've foreseen and prevented easily.
Overall Review: -Doesn't come in white
Broken with a few days of being installed & NO WARRANTY
Pros: They look AMAZING. they're quiet, and perform well. Best looking fans on the market atm
Cons: NO WARRANTY, THESE FANS HAVE NO WARRANTY WHAT SO EVER Weird clicking noise coming from two of them shortly after I installed them Cant seem to increase or decrease the speed. Everything else works fine
Overall Review: It's really disappointing that these fans have no warranty at all. buyer beware. With how quickly mine started having issues. be careful you KNOW what you are buying!
Lian Li's "s340" (And It's Amazing)
Pros: -Among the most stylish of cases, easily the most stylish in its price bracket. -Incredibly easy to build in with an awesome amount of space for extra cabling -A whole lot of configuration options and standard support (Vertical GPU (Sold Separately), 9 120mm fans/3 360mm RADs slots, up to E-ATX Support, Many Drive bays and the rare DUAL PSU support with hidden vertical mounting, A+++) -Super sexy panel mounting system, patented and easily the best I've ever worked with (Despite the below con!), two screws and you're in from all sides! (Industry Professional/PC Builder). -Very nice magnetic dust filters! (Except one thing, read below!) -PRICE! The Price is amazing. Despite not coming with Fans, this is by far the best Lian Li case you can get for the price!
Cons: -Cheap-ish build quality. At first glance it seems high quality but under a closer eye, the cheapness definitely stands out in the form of imprecise machining (Screw holes, PCIe slots, and PSU clearance), the power button (Yuck, most unsatisfying Power button I've felt in awhile) and the side panel and glass panel mounting mechanism, the metal that attaches to the glass on the inside definitely feels flimsy. -Comes with no fans (Not a deal breaker, but I sorta wish there was some kind of "all in" version that shipped with 3-6 fans, and the Vertical PCI-e bracket, I'd gladly pay 200-249 for something like that) -Vertical PCIe riser bracket is sold separately. HUGE mistake considering the next con -Not as much horizontal GPU clearance as you might expect. As others have complained, lots of ultra wide GPUs don't really fit and due to the flimsy nature of the side panel mounting mechanism you can't really force it, either. I was planning on mounting my GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid vertically, so it isn't a problem, but I would've been super bummed to find out it didn't fit the hard way. -Stock issues! (hah, this one will likely pass with time, but right now, this case is super hard to get ahold of. Guess Lian Li didn't expect it to be so popular!) -Dust filters don't play nicely with anything but super flat screws. The screws that shipped with my GPU Rad and CPU Rad are kinda dome shaped and interfere with the magnetic dust filters big time. They stay on, but fall off way easier.
Overall Review: I love this case, I would give it 5 stars, but my cons section is about double my pros section. It's still my favorite case, it's still my new number 1 case and I can't wait to see how many years and different builds i get out of it. There was one major thing in particular, that kept it from being 5 stars, and as much as I dislike it, i think it's also one of this case's major strengths. I called this case Lian Li's s340. Why is that? Because it's "cheap", it looks good, and it's easy to build in. Cheap is relative of course, when you consider most of Lian Li's cases are 2-3 times more expensive than this one is, but the build quality obviously suffers as a result. It's a strength and a weakness. For what you get, and how easy it is to build in and how amazing it looks, it's cheap, but the minor little things here and there make that trade off obvious. Maybe in an year they'll re-release it in higher quality, with fans, and PCIe riser kit, for a much higher price as a "Premium" variant like NZXT did with the s340. Time will tell!
Best z97 Motherboard there is. Period!
Pros: I own two of these boards, and while one of them had some quirks, a quick jaunt to and fro ASRock's warranty center, via UPS, fixed those right up. It has so many advanced features for the generation. So few z97 boards offer as many features as this one does.
Cons: This is more a limitation of the chip set and not the motherboard itself, BUT I wish there were more PCIe lanes. Haha.
Pretty good!
I didn't even know I hadn't ordered directly from newegg. A+
