Pros: Very well made, solid construction. Its designed for an ATX motherboard, but there is slightly more than 10.5" of space available for a slightly larger than standard ATX board, though it will be cramped. The mounting cages for the two 5.25" and 3.5" bays are shock mounted. You can also squeeze in a corsair H60 cpu water cooler, but its a tight fit.
Cons: Its quite heavy, but very robust and durable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It does largely work, but only with a pair of cat6 cables.
Cons: It doesn't work well or consistently, I've tried both a set of 10 ft and 50 ft cables, there is occasional digital dropout and issues connecting sometimes. The cables are new and test perfectly, so I have to assume the sender/receiver are just poor quality, but they were cheap, so not a big loss since I spent more on the cables.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: VANTEC CB-ESATAU3 NexStar eSATA to USB 3.0 Adapter
Pros: Works as intended, connecting eSATA drives/devices through USB3 on a MBPR.
Cons: Runs at full speed through the native MBPR USB3 ports, but only at half speed through third party USB3 cards or adapters, which is to be expected.READ FULL REVIEW
