5 out of 5 eggs Great Router 05/05/2016

This review is from: NETGEAR WNR2020v2 Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Router with External Antennas

Pros: Easy to set up, never disconnects or drops wireless signal. Works flawlessly on TWC service. I have 50/5 and get the full 50Mbps via wireless with this router, and still get 30Mbps in my backyard over 50 feet from the router with an exterior wall between the router and me.

Also another advantage for me is the power consumption. My previous Netgear router ran on a 12V DC power supply, and drew approx, 1 amp. Thats 12 watts, and it stayed warm to the touch all the time. This router uses a 5V DC power supply rated at .7A which means a draw of less than 3.5 watts. It stays cool to the touch all the time. Not only is this a faster router its far more efficient than my previous Netgear.

Cons: The plastic housing, and the LED lights are a step down from what Netgear used to offer. It just feels and looks cheaper. Not really a con, but worth noting.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend to anyone needing a great dependable router on a budget. No constant disconnects like I've seen with other routers in this price range.

5 out of 5 eggs Very Nice heatsinks 04/18/2014

This review is from: Enzotech BMR-C1 VGA Cooler

Pros: Great heatsinks. I bought these to cool the VRM chips on my motherboard. They do the job well. The thermal adhesive on these is the best I've ever seen, hands down.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Only stick-on heatsinks I've ever bought that didn't fall off eventually. Everything about these is great, from the quality of the heatsink itself, to the thermal pads, and heck even the packaging is top notch.

4 out of 5 eggs Good fans 04/18/2014

This review is from: LEPA 70D 12 (LP70D12R) 120mm Case Fan

Pros: Good fans for a cheap price. They run fairly quite on the 7V setting and move a good amount of air at that voltage.

Cons: Out of 4 fans I ordered one of them has a bit of vibration that seems to reverberate through my case, but it isn't bad enough that I've considered an RMA or anything.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for the price at all. Construction seems very nice, even the packaging is on par with fans costing 4 times as much. If it weren't for the small amount of vibration from the one fan it would be a full 5 eggs from me.
