This review is from: WINEGARD HD-8800 UHF HIGH-GAIN 8-BAY BOW-TIE HDTV ANTENNA
Pros: Very easy assembly and installation. I live in an area that has seen a lot of construction recently and when six new homes went up almost directly in my line to receive HDTV signals, I lost most of my channels. I was using the WineGard 2X BowTie antenna previously, was hoping that the 8X BowTie on the HD-8800 would help, and it really did the trick since I am now getting all channels with the exception of one that is just too far out of line.
Other Thoughts: I installed a Digital HD amplifier in my attic ahead of any splitters, and I get 100% signal strength on most channels now as well.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The drive works well, but at slower speeds! You should just buy a larger capacity 7200 rpm drive and you will be much happier. I have the 5.21 firmware, and have been given the same story as the rest, that according to ATTO uncompressed benchmark, the drive is as specified on packaging.
Cons: Slow unless you are going to just test it all day with ATTO uncompressed testing. Real Life performance is just way too slow for today's ssd's.
Other Thoughts: Buy from another manufacturer that doesn't try to convince you that one benchmark is better than the rest just to sell a lower performing drive.READ FULL REVIEW
