Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Still going strong 08/19/2014

This review is from: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: Almost three years old, and it is still fully operational. Even the lettering is not wearing down.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Almost three years with a teenage user, and it is still going strong. This keyboard has outlived the original rig, and probably a half dozen mice (mouses--Meeces, whatever). I just reviewed again, because someone asked about a rugged keyboard, and I had to check my old reviews to remember the model number, and since I am right here why not an update.

RAVPower Deluxe 14000mAh Power Bank External Battery Charger for Tablets, Smartphones, and Other Mobile Devices
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good capacity/weight/size ratio. It excels on longer trips with multiple devices. I even used it with a car GPS walking through New York City to save on data charges. It kept it powered for hours on end, and the larger GPS screen was easier to use than a phone.

Cons: Just crosses that easy to carry size line. It may be wise to have a smaller one too, for day to day.

Other Thoughts: I own a smaller RAV 8000mAH that pairs with a phone better. That size makes it easy to carry the phone and battery on those days you need it.This size is really too big to carry with a phone connected, but is not too big to carry alone till you get somewhere to use it. For me this charger goes in a bag for longer excursions where multiple phones may need to be recharged at a restaurant or a way to extend a tablet on a train or long wait in an airport.

SCOSCHE GUSBC3 reVIVE II Black Dual USB Car Charger
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

5 out of 5 eggs I like it very much. 07/26/2014

This review is from: SCOSCHE GUSBC3 reVIVE II Black Dual USB Car Charger

Pros: 2 ports, but I am afraid I soon will need a 4 port one. Runs cool and can be left in without overheating. Ventilation holes accomplish this but see other thoughts. Rock steady voltages.

Cons: None as long as it fits.

Other Thoughts: It's big. This is not a con, but look at it. I use it in a truck with a flat verticle dash so it is fine. Not sure it would work in my car which has angled ports much lower down, and it tighter spots
