Pros: I have a Asus I7 desktop and the Toshiba drive that is in it, is fast and quiet.(Same model of drive as what I ordered) It seeks quickly and read/ write times are up there with the best. . . Newegg's RMA process actually exists and works easily.
Cons: Drive was not built to the same specs as the retail drives. Customer support is a joke when you cant register your drive, because it isn't recognized by there own system. WD sent my return shipping label to me free of charge because, of excellent customer service. Really wish I could give a better review but, its kind of hard when the drive you order doesn't work right out of the box.
Other Thoughts: The drive in my computer has been there since Asus built it and it works great. I would have expected the drive to be just as good as the OEM one in the computer. I have used other Toshiba drives before and have never had this problem. Every person complaining about this drive has complained about the customer support for, at least a year. What is the problem there Toshiba? I would have thought that they would have been able to fix that in a few weeks. But, to my dismay, there are bad drives going out than good ones, just look at other reviews, at other sites. Newegg isn't the only one getting faulty drives. Toshiba, where is the QC testing, acceptable customer support, and reliable technology that we have expected to get from you?READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System
Pros: Very clean, easy install and looks. . . Very good cooling solution for any overclocking situation. Installation is pretty easy, if you are tech savy. It is no harder to install than a large cpu heatsink fan. Very nice, clean, and safe packing for the product.
Cons: New cooling solution comes with new bracket and will not fit LGA 775 socket anymore. . . would have been nice to have both new and old brackets. Do not buy with socket 775 mobo. . . Some of the old solutions are still in rotation and you might get the older model, with the right bracket for LGA 775 installation. Buyer beware! Could not contact Antec support over problem and never recieved email back. I love my antec 900 Case but, if customer support is this bad, I will take my chances with Corsair! Don't put compatibility for specific sockets, if you take it out of the original packaging.
Other Thoughts: If you are going to update a product, make sure it still lives up to its compatibility standards. Don't take away the original equipment that it originally came with and substitute it with a new setup only! Make sure the mounting holes still match up with the older socket types too! the original unit has oval mounting holes and the new socket 2011 bracket type, has round holes. They don't even come close to matching up! Updating a product is supposed to make it better not, lie on the packaging about what it still fits!. . . That is false advertising!READ FULL REVIEW
