Pros: The setup is easy. The documentation is well enough written so that you know what buttons do what and what the settings are for. The widescreen image is wide. The image recording is great. The options to monitor the car is great. The auto-save feature is great. For the price, this is a really good camera!
The suction has lasted through some pretty heavy heat and direct sunlight.
Cons: If you are needing to read license plates values, you may be out of luck unless you are close up (within 10 yards).
After having had it for a month, the ball joint it sits in has become loose and thus the camera swivels easily and out of place. I may be able to fix this by affixing the wiring tabs to the dash.
It requires a 3A USB outlet. I tried using this with a 4-way USB charger that put out 2.1A and it lost all charge after 3 hours of continuous use. I didn't bring the included car charger on the trip, so that was a waste.
The transfer speed from the camera to the computer is terrible ! Remove the card and use a card reader on your computer to transfer videos.
Other Thoughts: It records about 2-3 full days on the highest resolution setting.
The car charger has an extra USB plug on it so you don't completely lose your car charging port. I wonder if I can wire it up to my electrical system behind the dash...
It records your all sound in the car.
It records MOV files.

Pros: Some of my devices will not charge with less than a 1.5A current. This supplies all the power needed to charge all of those finicky devices!
Cons: It's bulky, but that's necessary.READ FULL REVIEW
