Pros: Huge size, Cheap
Cons: None so far, but have not owned it long at all. Aside from it being a 5 year old drive, which I knew already, and is why it was so cheap.
Other Thoughts: Could confuse some people that they come unformatted(at east mine did). Most drives that I have ordered came preformatted. Had to go ito management sotrage devices and format it to get it to show in the normal places. I noticed a review or two that claimed it wasn't working at all etc and have to wonder if they just didn't realize it was unformatted.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked perfectly well for ten months. Reasonably priced. Rma was easy. Replacement is working fine.
Cons: Just stopped working after ten months. Had to pay shipping to MSI for RMA, buy new thermal paste (I suspect that leaving the old might have been OK, but wasn't worth a risk since i had to remove the heatsink to remove the cpu) Was without my computer for two weeks.
Other Thoughts: Assuming that the replacement lasts, everything will be OKish. Having spent roughly a third of the price to buy a new one to RMA, if the replacement has problems, then it would have been better to just buy something else.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Changed my gaming experience more than a G-card upgrade or switching to SSD. The SSD made zero change in gaming actually as far as I could tell, have buyers remorse over it. Very happy. Guess more power for physics makes a huge difference.
Cons: Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for.READ FULL REVIEW
