Other Thoughts: Ok, so you used to be able to jump on to Newegg, find the best drive per $$ per size and not have to worry about whether it would work in a RAID environment or not. Not with WD anymore - you need to buy their "Enterprise" series, which from research on the net, is basically the same drive with a slightly different ROM allowing for TLER. Of course it costs more! Don't get me wrong, this is a great drive, it just would have been nice to know this up front in the product description instead of after the fact. I know, "Google is my friend", but that was after I had it set up in RAID 1, only to get a "SMART failure" message on the next boot after installing Windows 7. Not worth sending back, so I guess they become backup drives. Tis a shame.READ FULL REVIEW
