Pros: Very Fast, Good Features, Firmware Updates to keep improving (remember to unzip before trying to flash), support direct from Factory via Skype IM at all hours. ..
Cons: Firmware is a little complicated to setup and be sure you have the best options set. Wireless (only) connected device cannot communicate to another Wireless (only) connected device. Example: Samsung Note 2 can no longer print to the Brother Wireless Printer using the Brother App. Both are connected to the Router. (Tech Support is working on it). And Last, Antennas keep falling over, (Yes, I would also have liked Black, Better! )
Other Thoughts: I have several AMD ITX Motherboards that come with Wireless AC on-board. Now I need to figure out how to get both 2.4 & 5.0 to connect, at the same timeREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great Features
Cons: Bios (F1) needs updating with more accurate settings of the new APUs. I would be willing to bet they did not test it with any size except A10-6800. see test procedures below
Other Thoughts: On a workbench I tested 2 pcs of Gigabyte Md # F2A88XN-WIFI and 1 pc of Md # F2A85XN-WIFI with the AMD A6-6400K APU (2x /3.9GHz). ALL of these ran the APU very hot 76-85 C (temp in bios). I then put a MSI motherboard MD # FM2-A75MA-E35 on the workbench with the AMD A6-6400K APU and it ran at 46 C. I have decided that the problem is therefore with the Gigabyte internal bios settings for this APU. I recommend Gigabyte purchase this model and update your Bios(es)
. I am using the "Retail Box" version of this APU with an AMD Heat Sink & Fan. I am using 1pc 8GB DDR3-2133 by Team "Vulcan". I put a fresh coat of Arctic MX-2 Heat Sink compound on the APU every time I moved it..
