Pros: Worked fine, was fairly priced, would've served the purpose I needed for it well if not for some issues which I'll get to.
Cons: First off, the packaging and the pictured unit looked nothing like what I saw on Newegg. I expected a rectangular switch box with status lights on the front, but what I received was a switch with this exact same model number that now has a glossy black top, is very rounded and has status lights on the top. I don't care for this style of switch (huge dust magnet with the gloss black finish), but was willing to overlook this fact if not for the next issue.
The power supply makes a horrid high pitched squeal! I'm not sure what frequency it is, but it's high so some people may not hear it but I can and it drives me nuts. I'm sure it's the cheap coils they used in their eco power pack, it makes the noise regardless of what is plugged into the switch and no matter where I plug it in. I found it annoying enough that I could not stand to use it in my room where I work all day.
I intended to replace a very old Linksys 5-port switch I've used for ages without issue that I finally just ran out of ports on but I was not willing to listen to that squealing all day long. I found someone selling a switch like my old Linksys and paid a few bucks for it and it worked like a charm. I also disliked that the TP-LINK had no status or Act/Col. lights, just a plain light saying the connection was active. Very dumbed down from the old school and more professional stuff but I won't take an egg off for that.
Other Thoughts: I would've returned it, but after all fees and shipping it comes out even worse than just keeping it. I would not recommend this switch at all, the description misleads from what you're actually getting and if the coils are whining on the power pack when it's brand new I have serious concerns of how long it will last. It's a shame, because I specifically wanted a reliable 8 port switch that had the ports and power plug in the back. Many options exist if you want the power in the back and the ethernet ports in the front but that doesn't work for my setup.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RMS-MA3210 - Silver 17" - 37" Tilt & Swivel Wall Mount
Pros: Reasonably well made, feels pretty sturdy. I've had my 26" LCD TV mounted on it for quite some time and it's still going just fine. The ability to move the TV was important to me so I could access the back and this does it.
Cons: While the mount seems sturdy, it actually won't hold my TV completely flat. The little adjustment knob you can see is plastic and that is how you adjust the tilt of the mount. Unfortunately, I've tightened mine enough to where any tighter and I thought it would either break or strip out and the TV always sags just a bit. I cannot get it to be flat against the wall, no matter what I do. For where I'm using it, it's not the worst thing ever but I'm disappointed the mount can't even manage to hold a 26" LCD TV straight. The TV only weighs about 26 lbs so it's well under the max rated weight as well.
Other Thoughts: Reasonably satisfied with the mount, but I wouldn't buy another one considering the way this turned out. You can count on it to hold the TV reliably to the wall, but the adjustments leave something to be desired. I bought a similar full motion wall mount from that place with one price and it's holding a larger monitor with no issues sagging at all.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have two of these, one mounted in the back of my case as exhaust and one on the top. There is no vibration at all from either of these fans. Anyone having that issue likely has a defective fan.
Cons: Price, but quality fans aren't cheap and these aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things.READ FULL REVIEW
