Pros: Used it to adapt a 2.5 SSD to a floppy bay..
I run a hotter running model CPU along with 1 other SSD. 2 standard HDD`s and 2 optical drives along with an after market GPU.
The added cooling slots are a plus for my case.
Cons: Maybe a little flimsy.
But with a little care and common sense during install you should have no problems.
Other Thoughts: Took one egg because it could be a little sturdier.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G
Pros: Still the leader of the pack in thermal compounds.
You can always count on a few degree drop by just using a proper application of it alone.
Toss in a better fan and/or heat sink. It will take care of all but the hottest machines that recommend/call for liquid cooling.
Cons: None.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Runs my storage drive and one optical without a hitch.
Cons: Not bootable.
Originally bought to connect 2 optical drives to.
Had an occasion to need to boot from an iso. That is when I found out it was not possible.
Swapped connections and put my storage and one optical drive on the add-on card.
Routed my other optical to a mobo SATA port. All is good.
Other Thoughts: Installed into a PCI-e x2 slot.
Have not had an opportunity to try out the USB 3.0 yet.
