SCEPTRE X20WG-Naga Black 20.1
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Absolutely great monitor. I use it for work as well as gaming and it has been exellent. It is superb on my Powermac G5.

Cons: I had some shadows when using the included VGA cable (probably cable quality) but then I bought a DVI cable and it cleared right up.

Other Thoughts: If you don't like the red lights when your computer is off-here's a solution: turn it off!

Galaxy METAL GEAR Metal Gear Box 3500SAP-FLBLK Aluminum 3.5
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: This enclosure has given me no problems. Installation was easy. Works great on my Mac. I did get rid of the off-balance upright plastic stand and used some stick-on rubber feet that I bought, so that I could lay it flat and prevent it from sliding around.

Cons: none. (for the price)

Other Thoughts: Wish it didn't have to be powered up with a power supply. Stand isn't practical.

Galaxy METAL GEAR Metal Gear Box 3500SEAP-FLBLK Aluminum 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Nice enclosure for the price. Easy to install hard drive. Booted up immediately. Works great on my G5. Looks pretty cool. The metal case is great for heat dissipation.

Cons: plastic stand is cheezy and awkward, so I just laid it flat and put little rubber feet on myself. the thumb screws (to access the inside) are convenient but seem to always need tightening.

Other Thoughts: don't like the fact that you need a power supply even for firewire. Its been great for the few months I've had it but most enclosures don't seem to last long-so we'll see what happens.
