This review is from: Tt eSPORTS KB-PIZ-KBBLUS-01 POSEIDON Z Illuminated Keyboard - Brown Switch Edition
Pros: Sturdy, Heavy construction
No Frills Basic Keyboard Design
Works well with a mac
Other Thoughts: I have this keyboard in both the blue switch and brown switch versions and i really love the way it's made. It's heavy and doesn't slide around all over your desk, it's got a very nice weight to it. The feel of the keys are really great and a joy to type on. The brown switches are definitely quieter than the blues but both switches have their pros and cons. I think build quality is really spot on with this keyboard and the price is right. Features I would like to see in this keyboard or perhaps a newer version would be maybe a cable wrapped USB Cord or even a detachable cord would be a nice feature (as long as the quality didn't go down with anything else :) I use the keyboard with a mac pro. and it works fine. I would def. recommend this keyboard to friends and family if you are in the market for a no-frills basic, well-built, quality keyboard that doesn't break the bank :)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Backlit Keys
"Clicky" Mechanical Keys
heavy duty chassis
No Frills Basic Keyboard with no usb ports ( a big plus IMO)
Cons: Lack of Mac Support ( maybe just throw in some extra Keycaps with command and Option symbols on them? We can switch the keycaps, and using OSX even switch the keys!
Other Thoughts: Really enjoy typing on this keyboard, I've tried almost every brand out there. I really appreciate the no frills design of this keyboard. I use a KVM Switch so additional buttons for media control, etc. are really just useless IMO. I think this company did an awesome job of putting this keyboard together from design to assembly. It feels very solid and sturdy (there is no Flex to the keyboard like most keyboards built these days have. I think there has to be a metal chassis in this keyboard to make it feel so solid. The click is right on to my likeng as well. I even like the feel of the keys, I doubt they are PBT for this price, but they do have a good feel to them and don't appear to be really thin like most of the ABS keys on keyboards today. I think this company has really delivered. I mean after all what is the part of the computer you interact with the most? If you are like me it's your Input devices, so why not make them GREAT! I really think this keyboard is on the mark.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Build quality is very high.
Cons: This cable is a DVI-I cable and not a DVI-D Cable as it is sold, described and labeled on the packaging. This cable has 4 additional pins and therefore will not fit DVI-D ONLY devices (which most LED monitors are). Product should be re-called and packaging / model numbers updated with the correct information.
Other Thoughts: Same as aboveREAD FULL REVIEW
