Cons: This board was defective. I called ASUS customer service and they walked me thru a number of tests, which I already did before calling them as I have 6 ASUS boards running in my home and I know what I am doing. The ASUS rep admitted they have had problems with this board and told me to return it for a replacement. I paid $15 of my own money to return it.
Then the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE group kicks in and tells me to pay $180 for the repair. I only paid $70 for the board. Without my knowledge, they are sending the board back to me. They have kept the board over 3 weeks and I am now outside of the return window to return the board.
ASUS dispute people continue to hide behind email and won’t let me talk to anyone. The board is BAD and the customer service is WORSE.
Other Thoughts: If ASUS was not going to honor their original commitment, fine, just let me know if enough time so I could still return the board.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked great for 2 weeks, then died.
Cons: Listen to the reviews! Just like the reviews said, mine died after two weeks. Even though this unit had many reviews of DOA or dying after a few days, I bought it anyway as the price was good and I have had good experience in the past with Corsair products. My fault, as I have several computer builds in my home, I waited a couple of months before installing it. Now it is out of Newegg's return window. As soon as I replaced it with a year old Corsair HX750 that I was saving for another build, this computer was back up an running in a matter of minutes.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Handles 3 hard drives with ease and barely makes a sound. Custom built PC could be demanding on a lesser unit. Nice looks, packaging and cables.
