5 out of 5 eggs Does what you expect 09/29/2016

This review is from: Nippon Labs 6 ft. Model DP-DVI-6 DisplayPort to DVI-D 28 AWG Cable M-M

Pros: The biggest pro for me is that some display port adapters are a little large when you are trying to run two from ports next to one another. These fit perfectly.

Cons: No cons,

Other Thoughts: It's a cable, and it fits the display port well. Not much else to say, really.

Pros: I have put a number of these cards into business desktops over the past couple of years. No failures, and with no fan they are silent. They work great with 2 DVI monitors. Plenty powerful enough for office use.

Cons: I haven't come across any cons; the large cooler means you lose a slot, but these days I don't really add anything other than a video card to a business desktop so I don't mind that.

Other Thoughts: I've mostly been putting these into Dell Vostro and Optiplex mini towers, and they have been great.

Pros: Small, inexpensive, cool.

Cons: CMOS batteries seemed dead.

Other Thoughts: Got 2 of these to use as IPCop firewalls; IPCop v2 installed fine & saw the NICs no problem. Only issue was that both of them would lose their BIOS settings if left unplugged; I popped in a new 2032 & that seemed to do the trick. I liked that there was a riser for the PCI card since I added a 3rd NIC. For the price I think it's a great little box.
