This review is from: LIAN LI PC-Q25B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case
Pros: Very small
Hard drive cage
Cons: Very tight fit for power supply, especially where the power cables come out. It is .25" or less from the hard drive cage.
No USB or reset switch on the front.
The side panels are not fastened down by screws, but are held in place by these cheap snaps.
Other Thoughts: I really like the case. If they fixed the cons above, it would be the perfect NAS case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Integrated HDMI and DVI ports for dual screens
SATA and other motherboard connectors in good locations
Cons: BIOS requires Windows to update
Other Thoughts: I really like this board. However, GIGABYTE only makes their BIOS updates available in Windows executable format, e.g. ".exe" extension. This oversight prevents me and every other GIGABYTE motherboard user from updating the BIOS when running any operating system other than Windows. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing any GIGABYTE motherboards in the future and must recommend that all Linux users look elsewhere for their motherboards needs.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Dual core 1.8GHz Atom processor
4 SATA ports with AHCI support
Onboard Gigabit Ethernet
Works with my PicoPSU
Cons: SODIMM RAM (especially when there is enough real estate to have standard DIMMs).
RAM clock is VERY low at 800MHz.
Other Thoughts: I bought the board for a NAS system to replace my Netgear ReadyNAS Duo. Everything is working perfectly under Ubuntu, and is 4x faster on NFS transfers.READ FULL REVIEW
