Pros: Mine came out of the box as new/untouched. I love the island style keyboard and am learning to love win8. It is a very fast OS and I have had no problems at all except for figuring out "things" inherent with any new OS. Updating to win 8.1 it boots to the desktop is is basically indistinguishable from win 7 now. It has a large drive, plenty of memory, great video, and PLENTY of processor for a great price!
Cons: No "cons" from me...there was not a smudge, a scratch, or a bad pixel to be found with this unit. The battery lasts like it should, it charges like it should, this is a vary "cool" laptop as far as operating temp, so I have no issues there either. Seems almost too good to be true.
Other Thoughts: I would buy again in a heartbeat, and am considering getting another for my daughter.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Family Pack/ Home Premium Upgrade - Retail 3 PCs
Pros: Put in the disk, boot up and **POOF** windows, running, and activated..! Without a doubt the easiest and fastest windows install ever in my computer history..I am more than a little surprised.
Cons: None what-so-ever so far as this MS product is concerned.
Other Thoughts: Looking thru these reviews, it seems as though it was discontinued at some point and then brought back. I plan on buying another 3 pack, as I have 14 machines to convert as I can afford to at home, and am astounded at how well Win7 runs, even on older P4 ("D's") using 64-bit. By far the best initial OS released by MS ever. Contains both the 32-bit disk and 64-bit DVD's and some neat little booklet about shortcuts and a license that can be used 3 times, and thats all you need. I am still amazed at how well the first 3 upgrade/installs went..READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works fine..can't be beat for $7! Do not use disk that comes with unit. Plug it in, let windows find new hardware, then when it needs drivers, point to the drivers folders on the disk and then let windows manage the connection.
Linksys WUSB54GC v2 works under Windows 7 if you install your adapter as Realtek RTL8187B wireless USB network adapter.
Cons: install disk does not work - creates massive headaches and problems..Linksys needs to get this corrected..
Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these..one for an older XP system and one for a new Win 7 box and after researching the Cisco/Linksys support site and trial and error, they both work fine for me so far..READ FULL REVIEW
