This review is from: 20ft 8 Gauge 1000W Amplifier Installation Kit
Pros: Gauges are slightly lower of what I should have used, but it works great for newbie installs.
Cons: Gauge wire could be thicker, but I knew what I was buying.
Other Thoughts: Ran to amp easily in Ford Ranger bith plenty length to spare.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BOSS AUDIO 12" 1000W Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer
Pros: Huge woofer, had to make a custom box for this sucker, and lows and mids are fairly clear. Delivers a punch with the right amp. You only need 1 woofer if you get this size! Lol.
Cons: It took up a decent amount of space behind my truck seat (Ford Ranger). Still fit though!
Other Thoughts: Should have taken out back passenger seat that folds away in truck and built a box to retrofit 2 of these on each side of my truck. Wow.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BOSS AUDIO In-Dash CD/MP3 Receiver with USB and Aux Input
Pros: When unit is working, aux input works good but sound is degraded slightly. CDs play okay, with great sound quality. Amp inputs are nice.
Cons: CDs skip when running over a bump.
I bought 2 units for 2 different cars. 1 unit failed after 6 months of ownership and both units never received radio signals??
Failed unit does not turn on anymore (it is not a fuse, I checked them). At least security light goes on and off. LOL.
Both removable faceplates lose connection to main unit eventually. This is a CHEAP stereo, you get what you pay for.
The radio does not work with amplified antennas nor standard. I have even bought new antennas for both cars and I still have that problem till this day. I should have RMAed them years ago, my fault.
Other Thoughts: I have learned not to buy BOSS stereos, no matter what the price. Their woofers are awesome though. My experience with the stereos is aweful and disappointing, will buy something else when I am able to afford it.READ FULL REVIEW
