This review is from: USB 2.0 Endoscope Waterproof Inspection Camera Borescope 5M
Pros: Small/compact enough to squeeze into an engine cylinder or through plumbing. Extremely long cable (haven't measured but it's at least 20'). 1600x1200 resolution max. 6 bright LED lights. Brightness adjustment dial on USB plug. The image is clearly visible when viewing in a small/dark area with the lights at maximum brightness. I use with my laptop but still trying out different freeware to see what works the best. Includes software for capturing/viewing live video. The box says that it is water proof which is believable but I have not stuck it in any fluids to find out.
Cons: The video and image quality is fairly grainy, but if you compare it to any inspection camera used for automotive purposes it has actually somewhat comparable. The unit I received came with a small mirror and magnet that attach to the end - these don't stay on the camera very well and the mirror is impossible to see through. There is no focus or autofocus, it appears to be set on a permanent macro setting - that or the included software doesn't have a focus option. It views up close very well, though.
Other Thoughts: My uncle gave me this handy unit and did not use it as an endoscope thankfully. This little camera comes in handy and was well worth the investment for what I use it for. Would be best to market it as an inspection camera.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: D-Link Cloud Router (DIR-605L), Wireless N300, mydlink Cloud Services
Pros: Works most of the time. Works okay as a LAN only router.
Cons: Constant signal and packet loss from 15ft away. Random internet disconnects. Slow even when directly connected for file transfers. I am receiving a -60db to -70db signal strength from 15ft away but through a floor. This is resulting in very poor signal quality and a huge packet loss. It has deemed the router nearly worthless for my use. I also have an Asus N56U that cost be a pretty penny and I have been fairly saddened by that unit, until I flashed it with a different firmware and alas I am satisfied.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well priced. Decent video card. Adequate RAM. Windows 8.1.
Cons: Right out of the box this little machine runs like a dog. After heavy removal of bloatware this little machine will surprise you. Booting from USB requires a BIOS update otherwise you will not have the ability to boot a USB drive. It has an external power supply like a laptop. The processor is a bit disappointing.
Other Thoughts: Not a bad unit for the price. Remove all HP software and Bloatware. Remove McAfee antivirus and use Windows Defender to speed it up. Takes some tweaking to run at a comfortable speed. Otherwise right out of the box you will be waiting 30 seconds for the browser to open.READ FULL REVIEW
