I don't know what's wrong with you guys
Pros: This works like a champ, even after six months of use and multiple recharge.i can typically get charge my iPhone 5 five times before recharging this battery pack.
Cons: Outer case is kind of slippery. Not a ruggedized device.
Overall Review: The unit is not what I'd call ruggedized, and it does require a little care when handling the mini USB charging cable. I think most of you negative reviewers must be handling the charging cable too roughly. Treat this unit like the sensitive electronic device that it is, and you won't have any problems with it. On the other hand, let it bounce around in your backpack and you can expect it to malfunction like any other low-priced electronic device.
Works like a champ
Pros: Minimal packaging.
Overall Review: I'm using this adapter to connect my 2018 Apple Mac Mini to a KVM switch box so I can share a keyboard, mouse, and VGA monitor between four different computers (two Macs and two Linux systems). No problems when switching between systems. Nice adapter.
Perfect for audio
Overall Review: I use this adapter to play my iPhone SE 2020 through a musician's amplifier. No problems. Works great.
Perfect no-frills case
Overall Review: A very simple product with minimal packaging. This is the kind of case I like for a small phone. It adds little to the bulk, but makes the phone much less slippery.
Pros: Fast, easy set up. Had replaced my old file server in minutes (the only bottleneck was internal bandwidth copying data from the old drive to the new drive).
Cons: Dashboard has a poorly designed UI.
Overall Review: The dashboard UI combines light-on-dark text with dark-on-light often on the same web page, causing excessive eye strain as you move from reading text in one color scheme to another. The designer of this loud and ugly UI should be imprisoned. Internet (external) access is through a service called mionet.com. During set up, it displays messages that this is a 30 day trial. However, upon investigation, it appears that the service is free with my MyBook purchase. I hope this is the case. I'll find out in 3 weeks, I guess. It just seems wrong to have to pay for a service like this. Many reviews have indicated that the MyBook is slow, especially with respect to the WD Photos iPhone app. I don't think this is a drive issue. Rather, WD Photos is using an external server to cache thumbnails of your images. It can take an hour or more to do this depending on how many photos you have.
