This review is from: Linksys EA6900 AC1900 Dual Band SMART Wi-Fi Gigabit Router
Pros: This router is worth the money! I get the same speeds I do on my desktop that's hooked direct and my laptop that is running wireless. I don't see no lag between the direct and the wireless. I live an apartment building, so it was necessary to have a dual band. There is a lot of wireless singles by me. I have had this thing running for the past 3 days. And I haven't had any interferences at all.
Cons: When you first plug in the router. Make sure you unplug the modem to. I wasn't able to log into the first time because it was not getting internet connection. Soon as I unplugged both the router and the modem. And I plugged the modem back in. Let it due its thing. Then I plugged the router back in. And then I could log in. Also they didn't tell you the router password to get into it the very first time. Which is admin or Admin. I can't remember which one I used first.
Other Thoughts: This router is really nice. I would recommend this to a gamer must defiantly. And I would still recommend this to a person that is not into gaming. After logging in, make sure you change the default password for the router to sign into. Along with the wireless password and the name of the wireless. I also I change some of the settings to auto so that it wouldn't default to b/g/n. I recommend it to be auto. Also it has a thing on there to check your internet speeds which is really nice to have. This does have a lot of advance settings on it. So there defiantly pushing the technology for the home use router. Which is really nice because I am an IT person. So it does become useful. The external antennas are durable. They are pretty thick. I prefer the external ones because you seem to get better coverage. And on top of that you can also buy another external antenna that a has longer cable on it that is like 25 feet. So you can better range on it. That would be more for business side if they decide to use it as an access point. I have not setup the app for accessing the router from your mobile phone yet. But from what I read and seen online. It is a very nice feature. The reason being is if you have any kids, you can tell if they are online or not. And for some reason you just grounded them. Then you leave to run to the store. You can see if they are using the internet and then you can kick them off from using it.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: I love the product. I love the 80mm fan that's on it. You can't even hear the fan. And it's well ventilated. You can feel the air coming out of it when the fan is on. So if you plan on using an external hard as regular use. The fan will help. There is two blue lights. One that shows that the hard drive is on. The other light is for activity. So very helpful for that. And if you don't have a esata anywhere on your PC, it comes with a esata slot for the back of the computer. And you will plug the cable into sata slot. Which i use and it works great. Install is very easy, actually its so easy, that no computer person could it. I would recommend for any person.
Cons: none really. The only down side is you have to play it flat. You can't stand it on end. But other than that. nothing.
Other Thoughts: If you plan on using the external hard drive a lot. I would use the esata. You will get faster transfers speed then you will with the usb. The usb is only 2.0READ FULL REVIEW
