5 out of 5 eggs Dove grey Mouse 04/05/2015

This review is from: Logitech M320 Wireless Optical Mouse - Silver

Pros: After downloading the Logitech driver it synced to the PC Win 7 and the Logitech 800 keyboard just fine. I have the PC under a desk and not too close to the keyboard and mouse so it has a good range.

Cons: None that I have noticed so far.

ASUS RT-AC87U Dual-band 4x4 AC2400 4-port Gigabit Gaming Router with AiProtection Powered by Trend Micro

1 out of 5 eggs Bought four of these for 16,000 sg ft installation 03/05/2015

This review is from: ASUS RT-AC87U Dual-band 4x4 AC2400 4-port Gigabit Gaming Router with AiProtection Powered by Trend Micro

Pros: Looks nice, I had great expectations and a major need for this to work. My client paid for these so I won't show up as a verified user. Purchase date was Oct 22, 2014 from NewEgg 269.99 each

Cons: Well, they don't work. And we can't get our money back. $1,172.56 down the tubes. Installed three as AP and used the DHCP, NAT, DNS on root WAP. Connected each WAP and upgraded firmware to latest version. Ran different SSID on 2.4 vs 5. Verified connectivity.Would have full building connectivity and three hours later no one could connect. At first we thought it was just an exception. Then we thought it was the 100Mbps Comcast internet. After having Comcast come and test our business level lines which were completely clean. And a few months of reset three and four times a day. We gave up on these products. What a mess.

Other Thoughts: Just FYI. I am Cisco CCNA, CompTIA certs, A+,Net+,Security+. Been in the business for years. Work at Chase banks tier three for their networking support. Installed Wireless networks in locations in excess of 60,000 sg foot businesses. But always used enterprise equipment. This is not my first rodeo
