This review is from: COUGAR MG100 Black Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Pros: This case feels slightly more sturdy than the Rosewill LINE-M Micro-ATX Mini Tower, which is a similar Micro-ATX mini tower, but more expensive.
Other Thoughts: I was looking for a Micro ATX tower that's sturdy and cheap. This is probably about as good as you'll get for the price. As I write this, the IN WIN Z583T.CQ350TB3L is $49.99 with free shipping, and I would've gotten that instead if it had been on sale at the time. I like the IN WIN Micro ATX mini-towers better. They're much sturdier; however, they have an included power supply (which I don't need), and they are 2 to 3 times more expensive on average than this case.
These are the IN WIN cases I would buy instead (if I had the money):
I'm still very happy with this particular Cougar case, though. It meets my minimum standards for sturdiness.
Pros: I'll echo what Roulette_Run stated on 2013-06-26 when talking about this board: You're not loosing much functionality by choosing this over the Sabertooth 990FX.
Mine had the latest BIOS and worked out-of-the-box with an FX-8320 (Vishera). It was easy to find the XMP profile settings to overclock G.Skill Ares DDR3-1866 RAM (F3-1866C10D-16GAB).
Cons: No cons to think of
Other Thoughts: Furthermore, you're easily saving $30 at this time by choosing this over the Sabertooth. My experience here come from owning the first generation Sabertooth 990FX, so I cannot confirm anything about R2 or the GEN3 versions.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Sturdy, without flashing lights or a distracting design. Seems about the right price for the quality when it's on sale.
Cons: Wish this had USB 3.0 headers on the front. I know the 302 has them, but that case has an annoying curve to the front of the case, which ruins the design for me. If a version of the 300 had USB 3.0 headers, it would be perfect.
Other Thoughts: This is the second time I've purchased this case, and I love it. I hope Antec keeps making it.READ FULL REVIEW
