NZXT H630 CA-H630F-M1 Matte Black Ultra Tower Silent Case Includes 1 x 200mm Front, 1 x 140mm Rear 2 x USB 3.0 2 x USB 2.0 SD Card Reader

Pros: I tend to do a lot of server builds for my work, and rarely have I had such a pleasurable experience doing a build. For those of you who like a minimalist design, while the aesthetics are pleasantly non distracting this case is still very sleek and attractive. It is also very sturdy and durable-- the grade of materials is top notch across the board (though the disk cages are plastic). Also, the case is easy to maneuver and to break down-- you can certainly count on having little trouble getting in and out with your upgrades/maintenance on this case with very little difficulty.

Cons: For those of you who like "room" to work, there is something to be said about that regarding MoBo space. The Drive cages, while innovative in their design (they can be both removed and adjusted in position), also get in the way for Motherboards large than your standard ATX. It SHOULD be noted though that this is still possible-- I was able to fit in a Supermicro X8DTHi-F in here with a small amount of tweak (and an electrical shield running alongside the drive cages).

Overall Review: If like me you want a case that has plenty of room to work, is easy to manage and maneuver, and doesn't look like something stolen from the Borg then I encourage you to buy without hesitation. Great Case.

Solid Build and Reliability

Crucial Ballistix Tactical 12GB (3 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model BLT3KIT4G3D1337DT1TX0

Pros: I purchased 18 sticks of these for use in two dev servers (ecc, or registered memory, is far too expensive and unnecessary in a dev environment) and with 12 hour memtest sessions on both Ive had 0 errors. I'd fully expect with 18 sticks to get at least ONE bad one-- this was an exceptionally pleasant surprise to find I was mistaken. The sticks are also very well built-- great heat dispersion (the heat sinks are well designed) and the memory is pretty (for those who even care about this).

Cons: Whether this is just a limitation of server boards or the memory itself, would require more testing on my part that I am unwilling to do at this point... but it should be noted that in my case these do not perform to spec. Im seeing a cas latency of 8 rather than 7. Not a big deal in my case, but should be noted.

Overall Review: If you're on the fence about these simply because there are not enough reviews to give you confidence in the product, I can at least attest to the fact that they are well worth the "risk". 18 sticks with not a bad egg in the mix is phenomenal.
