Pros: Well built hard drive gave no problems installing. Runs quiet and reliably for over 3 years and still going strong.
Cons: Doesn't get better with age.
Other Thoughts: I bought this hard disk as a replacement for one that died. Haven't had any troubles and am happy with all WD Caviar drives I've ever owned.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very quiet drive. Power usage is minimal. Western Digital has always sold me good quality hard drives.
Cons: It took a while to format 1 TB.
Other Thoughts: I've used all of the major name brands of hard drives, but I still consider WD the best. The Caviar Green product line maintains the consistency that WD is ahead of the rest in quality innovations to the industry.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: The case is very roomy and has good airflow. The three 120mm fans do an excellent job of cooling; if necessary, installing more is quick and simple. Having the power supply at the bottom of the case is a good idea. Having the extra ports (2 USB, firewire, eSATA, headphone, microphone) available from the front is very convenient. Solid exterior construction and nice looking without being fancy or gimmicky. Fans are very quiet and the heavy case muffles other noise fairly well.
Cons: The wire guides got in the way of my full size ATX motherboard, so I had to remove them. Installing the hard disks into their bay is difficult because there is not much room left for SATA and power cables with multiple drives installed. The front cover is hard to take off just to install an optical drive, it feels like it is going to break. The power and reset buttons are a bit different to push than normal, they hinge instead of going straight in and out.
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great case. The cons I have are pretty minor compared to other cases I previously owned. I just have a few small issues with convenience and preference. I would definitely recommend this to anybody building a new computer.READ FULL REVIEW
