Pros: Nice, slick bios that enables the mouse
Came with a BF4 voucher
decent price for an ATX MoBo
Other Thoughts: Purchased this with an AMD 760k Richland
previously MSI has not worked well for me (last msi mobo was the p35 neo combo). I'm sure you can imagine the shock/excitement I was feeling when I setup the BIOS and didn't take more than 5 min. Great, stable board, and the bios is even a bit user friendly.
This review is from: AMD 760K Richland Quad-Core 3.8GHz Socket FM2 100W Desktop Processor AD760KWOHLBOX
Pros: 3.8 GHz
works out of box
easy install (but most processors are these days)
Cons: Runs hot and somewhat loud during gaming
Not going to lie, I need a better case that has better airflow (currently sporting an Apevia x-cruiser 1st gen. that I bought about 5 years ago).
Still docked an egg cause I don't think the stock cooler is enough for it and the fan is noticeably loud when running games. Still very impressed.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement to my old Core 2 Quad q8300. I was a little iffy on the virtual cores, wondering if they would be able to compare to the physical cores but am very impressed/pleased.
Just make sure you have a good airflow and after stock cooler for it.
