Pros: Incredibly fast. Didn't understand the hype about SSD's, but definitely do now.
Boots in ~10sec or less. Craziness.
Installs most programs in under a minute, games in a few minutes (with intel 4670k)
Games load so fast there isn't enough time to read the loading screens
Have had no issues with it at all
Other Thoughts: Totally worth the money over a HDD to put OS, games etc on.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very durable board with high quality materials, haven't had any problems so far.
Withstands the weight of my Noctua D14 like a champ.
The black pcb looks much nicer than those ugly brown ones.
Overclocking ability is good, got my 4670k up to 4.3Ghz at 1.265V.
Debug code LED is very useful
BIOS is very clean and functional
Cons: When overclocking sometimes the sound cuts out when the computer is booted up. I have found that when you unplug the power supply from the wall and discharge the motherboard by hitting the power button this fixes the problem.
USB 3.0 header is in an odd location, would be more convenient at bottom of board with other front panel headers
The preset Overclocks use way more voltage than necessary, leading to high temps. Better to just dial in your own.
Software such as overclocking control, fan control etc can be a bit buggy, still controlling my fans after software is uninstalled
Other Thoughts: Overall a great board, with only a few minor complaints. Have had no real issues so far and plan on buying Gigabyte boards in the future because I was so impressed with the build quality and durability.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Incredibly fast chip. Upgrading from a 7 year old core 2 duo, this thing is unbelievable. Opens chrome before I can even lift my finger off the mouse. Installs software very fast (this could be my SSD as well).
This particular chip doesn't overclock that well, the most I've gotten is a stable 4.3Ghz at 1.265v. This is about as far as I'll push it with my Noctua D14, as IBT temps get to mid 90's. Perhaps liquid cooling in the future will allow me to reach higher clocks.
Cons: Hot, only able to get 4.3 with Noctua D14
Other Thoughts: Overall a great chip that will serve me well in gaming for a while.READ FULL REVIEW
