Pros: Great build quality. supports overclocking with new bios update which is great for the pentium G3258 anniversary edition. fits in mini itx cases(if you arent using a dual slot video card). It's also my favorite color. Price can't be beat seeing as it's the cheapest lga 1150 socket board available.
Cons: Limited expandibility. Integrated audio is just 5.1 as opposed to 7.1. Too few usb ports. No internal usb 3.0 header. Lack of pci slot. its single case fan header runs most case fans very loudly making a molex fan header adapter recommended.
Other Thoughts: Lack of expandibility hurts this board more than anything. its lone pcie 1x slot is best used to add an internal USB 3.0 header and some ports to the back as well. This board's best use is definitely in low power specialized applications like being a dedicated Minecraft Server or in an HTPC. where upgradability isn't an issueREAD FULL REVIEW
Cons: Sketchy drivers. Supposed Linux drivers do not work. windows drivers do not even work. Device is misidentified as an Xbox 360 wireless controller adapter. even when windows searches windows update for a driver it tries to use the Xbox 360 controller driver.
Other Thoughts: It looked promising being USB 3 and being speced for high throughput but the device is completely non functional. There seems to be either a problem with the device's firmware or the drivers. Spent hours (unsuccessfully) trying to install Linux drivers written for an outdated kernel version. Spent more time installing windows on the same machine only to find out that the drivers are broken for even windows.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: No signs of failing anytime soon. Quiet. excellent read write speed for a mechanical drive. Makes itself a good drive for most anything you need mass storage for.
Cons: adds a tiny bit of heaft to my already heavy system.
Other Thoughts: I use it to store large files such as Linux ISOs and Virtual Machines which takes a load off my SSD.READ FULL REVIEW
