This review is from: Changhong 40" Class 1080p LED HDTV - LED40YD1100UA
Pros: good price near 200, picture is okay with hdmi and 1080p signal for brightly lit action. good amount of hdmi inputs. sound is pretty good for flat panel.
Cons: in dark scenes, the picture was hard to see details. this coming off directtv tuner, and I didn't watch any dvd's or bd's on this tv while I had access to it.
the menu's for adjustments of picture left a little to be desired. not as intuitive as I would like. the different zoom settings especially.
Other Thoughts: ordered this for my ex-gf as a favor since her new bf busted the one she currently had (nice Toshiba 32 inch 720p)... ex said she didn't like the picture as much as the older tv, so she traded it with him for his... so what did I go out of my way ordering this tv for!!! DFC!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Sony BDPS1200: Wired Streaming Blu-ray Disc Player
Pros: upconverts dvd's pretty good. Netflix looks fantastic. audio can go thru separate output other than just hdmi. remote controls tv power and volume. TONS of online content, more than you'll ever get to. price! got this somewhere else for just under 70 bucks (hint: it's a SA jungle).
Cons: certain remote buttons are kinda small and hard to see in dark. dvd's sound cannot be heard when running at 2x speed. it is not a wireless internet connection.
Other Thoughts: really liked my last Panasonic bd player, but it did not do Netflix, so I changed to this one. already had a wire running to the area I needed it, so the fact that this rig is not wireless doesn't bother me. had this thing a little over a month, and I'm a dedicated Netflix streamer now. never had cable, never will.READ FULL REVIEW
