This review is from: Rosewill RPCT-10001 32-Piece Precision Screwdriver w/ Bit Set
Pros: I got suckered so you don't have to
Great selection of solid quality bits
Case is okay
Extension bar is okay
You know where this is heading, right?
Cons: Handle looks pretty but it's just cheap plastic
Locking nut is on two thin leaves of miserable ragged cracking plastic
Other Thoughts: So close, and yet so very far. I'm a rather unabashed fan of Newegg, and Rosewill ain't bad either. But I recommend that consumers steer clear of this set. You can't see until it's in your hand that the handle is plastic all the way through.
Some clarification: I don't mean high strength ABS. I don't mean glass-filled plastic or G10 or some other whizbang polymer that's just offending me because it isn't good old steel, goshtarn it.
I mean it's really junky plastic, like you'd find in a toy set at a dollar store. The handle part is steady enough although that handsome grip is just printed on and is not actually perceptible to touch. But the socket that needs to hold the bits - you know, the part which needs to withstand torque and stuff? It's cheap and brittle plastic.
Verdict: Buy a different set. Great bits can't save the screwdriver, I've seen Tic-Tac cartridges with better build quality.
Pros: Small, light, and cheap.
Cons: Cannot play Netflix without choppiness and syncing issue. Cannot play BD discs (after installing a drive) without hanging or locking solid. Cannot play high definition rips. Cannot stream Hulu except on lowest settings. Cannot play YouTube on HD. None of this is a network issue; I've spent hours troubleshooting the network, updating drivers, and changing settings to take advantage of the anemic integrated GPU instead of the completely useless CPU. Cannot do anything that it is intended to do. Returning for a refund.
Other Thoughts: Do not buy. The E1-1500 is comparable to a low-end Pentium D from 2007.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: IOGEAR GearPower Susan G. Komen Edition Portable Battery Pack GMP1001PP (Pink)
Pros: Slim. Pink. Cheap.
Cons: Does not work.
Other Thoughts: I was happy with GMP4400PP, a higher capacity IOGEAR battery, so I had high hopes for this smaller cousin. I charged it fully, according to instructions, and when it filled I plugged in my Palm Pixi. I got the charging symbol which stayed on for less than a minute. My wife's Incredible 2 failed to charge at all, my Pixi indicates charging briefly but then drops out.
It doesn't matter how small or cheap this may be, it does not work.
