Seagate Barracude 7200.14 Review
Pros: - Large Space - Cheap Price
Cons: - Different Format - Not for a beginner user
Overall Review: If you format it with the normal windows format, it will max out to 2 TB. You have to format into a new universal format to get the full 3 TB. I wont go into technobabble. Basically if your just looking for a hard drive to plug and play, this isnt it. NOT RECOMMENDED for new users.
Asus MoBo M5A99FX Review
Pros: - Smaller Motherboard - USB 3.0 - 3 PCIe slots - Lots of fan connections - Price
Cons: - Terrible placing of the MoBo power connectors.
Overall Review: Great mother board, great price, perfect for my system. My only complaint is why someone put the power connection to the processor at the very top. I had to run a cable around my graphics card and stretch it to the top right of the board (next to the onboard usb, network, etc) - Minus an egg
ASUS DirectCU II Review
Pros: - Ultra graphics setting on every game - High memory - 3.0 Ready - Price
Cons: - Very large in size. - Occasional Micro Stutter - Lots of heat
Overall Review: I think its a great graphics card in comparison to other graphics cards on the "same level". I run all my games on ultra settings just fine. However i dislike the massive size of the card and i highly dislike the placement of the power connectors. Its right next to the heat dissipation bars and your power wires will generally come close to touching the bars. I almost bought a 2nd one.
AMD Fx9590 Review
Pros: - High Processing Power - Low Price - 8 Core - Comes with the ability to overclock to 5 Ghz
Cons: - Power Hungry 220 Watts - Doesnt benchmark as good to other comparable processors in CERTAIN categories.
Overall Review: Besides the power hungry nature of this beast, it performs VERY well. Ive had AMD loyalty for a long time. I was thinking of going Intel, but for a processor thats comparable to this you would have to spend a couple hundred dollars more.
Ripjaws X Series Review
Pros: - Large amount of ram - Price - Red casing to match my red themed system
Cons: - Slightly bulky casing.
Overall Review: They run great, i may have to invest in some more in the future.
Hydro H80i Review
Pros: - Inexpensive - Self contained system A. Includes pump inside B. Coolant already inside and sealed C. Power ready to go - Doesn't require alot of power
Cons: - Fans get really loud when they "spin-up" - One of the fans rattle. - Hoses arent very flexible
Overall Review: Ive had this product for 2 months now. (how can you really truly test a product within 30 days?) It was a really great buy. It was a very tight fit in my case (my fault). Worth it instead of having to design your own coolant system. My regrets are the fans are way too loud and one of the fans rattles (thus causing more noise) when it "spins-up"
