Rosewill CHALLENGER - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Three Included Fans - 1 x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1 x Top 140mm Fan, 1 x Rear 120mm Fan - Two More Optional Side 120mm Fans Supported

Pros: Lots of space inside, quiet even with 3 fans, blue LED in front looks cool, 2x 3.5" slots in front, easy to install both 3.5" and 2.5" HDDs and SSDs.

Cons: No USB 3.0 in front but with the 3.5" expansion slots it's easy to install them with an addon.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy more of these in the future. One thing that threw me off was that the hard drive connections should be facing in the opposite direction. Using the tool-less brackets, the hdd and/or ssd should be connected to the back side. Hope that's clear.

5 out of 5 eggs FreeNAS 9.3 Running On It 02/17/2016

This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler Micro 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model DTMCK/16GB

Pros: It's small and 2.0, which is what I needed to install FreeNAS 9.3 on.
No problems.

Cons: none

Thermaltake Core V1 Extreme Mini ITX Cube Chassis, Compatible with air and Liquid Cooling Builds (CA-1B8-00S1WN-00)

Pros: Looks good sitting on the floor in the corner of the living room.
Plenty of space.
All five sides (not the back) are easy to take off. Taking the bottom off helped when installing the atx power supply.

Cons: I'm using this case for a NAS/media server that runs 24/7. The 200mm fan on the front is quiet but I don't need it to run 24/7 as well. Not sure if it's because the fan has a 3-pin connection or if it's the motherboard/BIOS, but I can't get the fan to not run full blast all of the time.

Other Thoughts: This case isn't ideal for a NAS with more than two 3.5" HDDs. But you could mount two more on one of the side grills.
