Pros: It's worked flawlessly moving large amounts of data every day. I'm using a Mac Mini and Carbon Copy Cloner.
Cons: No 2nd thunderbolt port (so it has to be the end of a daisy chain). No cable included (understandable to keep costs down).
Other Thoughts: The dock is fast enough to make you realize the limits of the actual hard drive speeds.READ FULL REVIEW

This review is from: StarTech SV421DVIDD 4 Port StarView DVI KVM Switch with Dual Display
Pros: Cheap. It may work in some situations.
Cons: Analog signal is degraded though the quality of your card, cable & monitor may be able to compensate for this... In my case, I saw significant ghosting (double/triple shadow images) at 1600x1200 (should work per spec)...
Digital signal only works to 1280x1024 (per spec) -- small by today's screen sizes.
Other Thoughts: I was able to get a 1600x1200 digital signal to work but with significant static/noise... again, quality of your card & monitor may compensate.
This unit may work well in less demanding situations (lower resolutions).
I'm returning it for (hopefully) a better kvm.
