This review is from: EnGenius ENS202EXT N300 High-powered/Long-range Wireless Outdoor Access Point
Pros: GUI interface is pretty straight forward and easy enough to navigate for the not to network literate.
Setup was a breeze, running two of these as access points on my existing wireless network, with a decent spread in frequency on the same SSID. Using Cisco PLEK400's to tie the lan port of the POE back to the head end of my network router.
Coverage has a nice overlap, wireless devices have no problem making the coverage switch from Wireless Router to AP's virtually seamless.
May not be up to the $400+ Cisco AP's but they seem to work good in our application.
I'll be ordering three or four more for our office and warehouse.
Cons: Can't find any cons to date.
Other Thoughts: For the money they're a pretty decent buy, I'd recommend this product.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LINKSYS PLEK400 Powerline AV 1-Port Network Adapter Kit Up to 200Mbps
Pros: No brainer on connection even a grade schooler can get things connected.
Takes advantage of existing household wiring so no need to run ethernet cable.
Using this to get video data from outside webcams to my server and it works great.
Going to order another set to see if VOIP will work on a piggy backed router.
Cons: Absolutely none.
Other Thoughts: Oh and do not attempt to plug this into a UPS supply or a cheap surge suppressor it won't work if you do for obvious reasons.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: WD Elements 2TB Desktop External Hard Drive
Pros: Small package
Cons: 1 year warranty what a joke, my died a year and a month to the day.
I opened the case ran the WD diagnostic tool and the drive comes up as Failed. I ordered a replacement WD drive installed it in the WD Elements case and all is well, now I have a 3 year drive warranty.
From now on I'll order blank enclosures and bare hard drives with a 3 or 5 year warranty.
