Pros: Fast card.

Cons: I already wrote a review where I gave the card 2 eggs based on it failing within 3 months of purchase. I had to write this update review to warn others. After having my card for 2-1/2 weeks, the RMA status tool on their website didn't change status. I called in to speak with someone. He said he couldn't tell where it was at and would have to look into it and call me back. He said I should get a call back within the hour. I did not get called back. I waited another week since it was the holidays and I figured they were swamped with new sales from Christmas. After a week, I called back and was put on hold. After about 5-10 minutes, I was hung up on. I did this 5 times in a row. After being hung up on for the 5th time without speaking to anyone, I decided to give it a rest for the day. The following day I wrote back to the MSI support team who responded to my prior Newegg review since I couldn't get in touch with anyone else. To my surprise, I got an email response within an hour stating that they would "look into it". I didn't get an answer from them that day so I sent a follow up email to the support team. They responded to me the following day that someone from their customer service department would be contacting me with a refund offer. The problem: the refund offer was $280 less than I paid for the card. They said they could not send me a new card because they didn't have any.

This is not an end of life product. It has only been 3 months since it was released. So they can't supply me with a new card or a refurbished card, but they'll send me a check for $280 less than I paid for it?

Unfortunately, I never heard from the customer service team like the support team said I would. I called in again today to speak once again with service to try and get it solved. They told me they would now send me a refurbished card. It's been over a month since I had the card and we are well past the 5-15 day replacement time frame that MSI provides. I asked them to please expedite the shipping method on the replacement (UPS next day, 2nd day, etc.). They told me they will not.

Other Thoughts: As of today it's been 1 month and 1 day since I had a functioning MSI card. I still do not know when I will receive my replacement as they have not told me. This lack of information and refusal to provide even the most basic customer service has been eye opening for me. I've built numerous rigs over the years and have dealt with some top notch companies in regards to customer service. MSI has permanently lost me as a customer.
Please let this review serve as a warning to anyone thinking about purchasing this card.

Pros: Very fast card. Handled literally everything I could throw at it FPS wise. Very good on-board cooling solution and I was a huge fan of the backplate. I've had countless high end cards bend under their own weight over the years so I saw this as a big plus.

Cons: The card failed me after 3 months. I got it about a week or so after release for the premium price. This card is specifically geared towards overclockers and even includes two separate bios on board. I only used the standard BIOS with a very mild overclock. My main goal in buying this card was to get the high quality components so it would last. Last night I was using the card and my graphics drivers kept failing and recovering. First with about a minute span in between, then progressed to failing every 10 seconds. A restart did not help. Then, shortly after, my monitor lost the signal. I tried a ton of simple solutions. Change the display ports, re-seat the card, etc, etc. Nothing worked. I then hooked my monitor up to a different computer to rule that out. Finally, I installed a spare vid card I had and everything was running fine.

Other Thoughts: MSI has a very easy online tool to generate an RMA and I shipped it out today, so hopefully it will be a quick turnaround. My major complaint in all this is, they are going to send me a refurbished card. I spent premium dollar on a top of the line card and now all I'm going to get back is probably something that has been overvolted and overclocked through the roof and won't last me. Still an MSI fan, but I would have liked for them to support their top-of-the line products a little more.

Pros: Good tactile feedback. Good looks and built sturdy.

Cons: Lasted 2 months. After 2 months my W key (arguably one of my most used keys for gaming) started malfunctioning. It would either not register the key stroke, or register 2 or 3 times with one button press. Spoke with Razer customer services and after their own trouble shooting measures they agreed the board was broken. In order to get an RMA# I had to provide proof of purchase, IE, and invoice. This was a pain since it was a gift to me. Once I got the required info they provided me with an RMA# as promised but I am forced to pay freight on a very heavy keyboard. Not so happy about eating freight on a top-of-the-line product that failed after 2 months.

Other Thoughts: I won't show as a verified owner since it was a gift.

My recommendation: avoid.
