Cons: Second one arrived. Passed quick test of WD;s DataLifeguard Diagnostics. Long test: ran for 30 hours. It got stuck on one bar, sector # not advancing very quickly. Every second, estimated time remaining increased by four or five seconds. After 8 hours I pressed cancel. 30 hours later the test finally stopped: FAIL/TOO MANY BAD SECTORS. So in addition to bad drives, the test takes over two days if there is an issue.
Other Thoughts: I wonder how many would come back if everyone ran the extended test?READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: quick ship as usual
Cons: Open it up, test it, Test Option: EXTENDED TEST
Test Result: FAIL
Test Error Code: 08-Too many bad sectors detected.
Test Time: 08:33:27, July 03, 2014
Other Thoughts: Don't know why I have to pay return shipping when a unit is DOA. It's certainly not my fault, so why am I paying for it?READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TOSHIBA Toshiba 40" Class (40" Diag.) 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV 40E220U
Pros: Price (currently under $400, I paid $440 in 1/11). Ability to stay in native mode so the picture is in the correct aspect automatically. Picture is decent (and I'm a stickler). Let's put it this way, it's good enough that I'd rather have a bigger screen than LED or 120 Hz (note, my signal is either PC or digital cable, neither of which will push the envelope on a screen like this). Overall, the set is good enough to question why you would spend more.
Cons: Remote is not super well organized. It's hard to come up with true colors--skin ends up a bit too pink. This is common to all TVs at the moment.READ FULL REVIEW
