Pros: aesthetically pleasing
lots of options (in screen menu)
tons of tunability (color balance, temp etc.)
lots of ports
Cons: When picture quality is set to "fast" there are lots of ghosting with dark pictures, especially noticeable when playing games with a dark backdrops.
Came with two adjacent dead pixels. Fortunately it happened to be in the bottom left hand corner and for the most part unnoticeable. Have been too lazy to get and rma and send back the enormous box.
Other Thoughts: Giving it four eggs because it did come with a couple dead pixels. I know I could turn it in but that involves me getting an rma and then paying for the initial return cost and driving all the way to ups to drop of this enormous box and then waiting for it to get approved and going a few weeks without a monitor and then having them send me a new one that I have no assurance of it being better.
Pros: Great board that has everyone one needs nowadays in a desktop computer. Plenty of USB ports, both 3.0 and 2.0 with many other features. Onboard Wi-fi and bluetooth work fine and included Ai suite easy to use.
Cons: none yet. Chipset gets a little hot
Other Thoughts: set up:
H60 water cooler
840 evo 128gb
Everything runs good
Pros: Very fast and running relatively cool thanks to the acx coolers. Can run all my games on max settings on 2560x1080 and get "playable" frame rates
Cons: Wished this $700+ graphic card came with a blackplate.... (even the new 760's come with one!)
Other Thoughts: After considering SLI and the new 290x I settled on this but still feel uneasy that I'm $800 poorer... is it worth it?READ FULL REVIEW
