This review is from: HIS H925H128E1TOPN Radeon 9250 128MB 64-bit DDR PCI Video Card
Pros: this works, is PCI and helps put new life in old computers. Even comes with drivers. Good 2d for basic computing
at least for Linux, AMD no longer supports this chipset. In Linux you use the open source driver which is ok for computing but terrible for video. I had to return this and get an old NVIDIA card to do the same job since they offer more support. I bought this to turn an old shuttle with a PCI slot into a media player, just 720p video. The card could output 720p just fine for a desktop and applications but the card just died on video, 720 or even standard 480i. It was the rivers not the card.
Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what the support/drivers offered for windows are. A CD came with it but I'm pretty sure that at most it might have Vista drivers. I did see that it had the XP, 2000 drivers. Just keep that in mind.
3 eggs if you have the right setup for the drivers, 0 if you don't.
