Bought through MNW
Pros: I love opening PDF's with 2 pages open on one screen and having it display properly. Amazing picture, no dead pixels. Everything you'd expect from a 4k monitor. MNW Global delivered incredibly fast shipping from Korea, and near instantaneous support to the only problem I had discussed in cons. (Korean Language Barrier and travel adapter)
Cons: For the Monitor: The stand is total garbage and this monitor has no VESA mounting holes. I will have to machine my own bracket to attach it to my mon0price mounting arms. Frustrated that Samsung overlooked something so simple on a bleeding edge product. Windows 7 support for 4k isn't quite there yet. You'll spend a lot of time resizing windows to make use of the space the monitor provides. Most websites and other content aren't set up to display on a 4k monitor well like at any given time 50% of this monitor is being utilized as a white light bulb on most pages. FOR MNW GLOBAL: Unfortunately, the monitor is preset to be in Korean, all documentation and instructions are in Korean. The $700.00 monitor showed up with a $2.00 travel adapter to plug it in to my wall that wasn't intuitive and didn't seem to fit until I really jammed it in there. MNW helped me figure out I needed to jam it in. So room to improve: Include a url even just printed on the paper packing slip to the pdf of the English manual. A link to a step by step guide with pictures of navigating the on screen menu to change the language setting to English. I figured it out by stumbling through the menus for a while.
Overall Review: Besides that I'm happy with the purchase, and extremely happy with the shipping time.
Completely unreliable
Pros: If you enjoy losing your data and waiting for replacement drives to come in the mail, these are perfect.
Cons: I originally bought two of these to use in raid on 5/15/2013. One of them died after 4 months. Manufacturer replaced it, had to reformat the remaining drive to use while I waited 10 days for replacement. New one came, left it in it's box second of the original drives died today. Going to have to use the other one until I can RMA the second broken one. It's completely unreliable. Don't buy these, you'll regret it. One day you'll just be minding your own business then BAM blue screen, drive vanishes from bios never to be seen again. TWO DEAD IN LESS THAN A YEAR.
Caught fire
Pros: Could be used in an insurance scam as it is a mini arsonist
Cons: The asian power devices inc adapter WA-24E12FU Caught on fire today after four years of normal use. Flammable
BROKEN PIECE OF JUNK
Pros: Newegg gave me my money back
Cons: After one month it promptly broke. Completely worthless, get what you pay for don't buy this garbage.
Good, with a little room to improve.
