Pros: Works real good in XP with latest Nvidia 344.75 driver.
Cons: Do not use drivers posted on Asus website, those do not work with XP, even if Asus claims it's O.K. Asus, fix it...
Other Thoughts: I like this card. Not big, very silent, good selection of outputs, modest power consumption.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Card itself looks real good and feels well made, very silent, etc.
Cons: ASUS drivers for this card, (claimed to be for Win XP), as posted on their website, do not work with many applications on XP SP3. I was ready to sent card back, but at the last moment, decided to try Nvidia 340.82 Beta driver for XP. This one seems to work with everything serious I've tried so far, which is multi media applications and Solid Works. Will continue checking it out for a week or so before making final determination.
Other Thoughts: See above.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I did not buy it directly from Newegg, but... It works great. I use it as a WiFi repeater for the hot spot created by Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It greatly increased coverage area. Accessing WR01 interface was easy with Win 7 laptop, wirelessly, setup took 1 minute or so. Very happy with performance and reliability of this gizmo. Also, customer support is top notch, as many already reported. Had a couple of questions, and received reply very fast and straight to the point...
Other Thoughts: I found out that even when WR01 is in repeater mode, I could use wired connection from WR01 RJ45 socket to PC to have Internet access, which is reported as "local area connection". This was a bit unexpected, because there is nothing in the user guide which indicates such possibility. But it works just fine, and I really like it. Opens a bunch of opportunities, including options for connecting wired network printers, switches, etc. Got to play more with WR01 to find out what else is not mentioned in the user guide....
Will buy HT products again. These guys seems to make an excellent hardware and care about their customers.
